Buying a UK reg car located overseas with Carnet
I have been advised by the RAC that it is not possible to buy a car that is located, say , in Eygpt that has a current carnet in the name of the current owner without bringing the car back to the UK. Given the number of UK reg cars for sale on HUBB - I suspect there might be a way through this maze> getting ownership transferred and getting a new carnet issued
Any ideas welcome
