Bike Maintenance Courses Berkshire, or London
 

Hi Folks
Can anyone recommend any bike maintenance courses run in the london area? Basically after something that get me up to speed with some of the basic skills needs for a London-> Capetown trip. Courses in Berkshire would be ideal, but london would also work.

I did one in Shoreditch (I think the place is called Sh. Community College) just before I left for the same trip. It's 2 hours in the evening, once a week for 10 weeks and it was about 50 quid. Pretty basic obviously but you take your bike in and work on it so it helps.
Can't give you anymore contact info because I'm in Malawi but if you type in Shoreditch motorcycle maintenance or similar into Google you should find it.

I think these courses are quite common and usually run by local councils. I have just started a 10wk/2hr/£50 motorcycle maintenance course in Edinburgh. Perhaps a search on your local councils website under adult education might deliver the goods?
