Best Direct Access Scheme Providers in London?

Hi All,

I'm trying to find a good provider of Direct Access Scheme Courses in London.

Should I only look at DSA-approved companies? Another factor is I'm trying to do it as cheap as possible (on budget). I'm aware I'll most likely need 4/5+ day courses. At the moment I'm finding the cost to be around £500+. Can this be bettered for the above amount of days?

I've found the below and respective prices (where I could find them).

BikeWize - 599 / 4 day
CamRider - 425 / 5 sessions, 479 / 6 sessions
London MCT - 725 / 5 day
Wimbledon Advantage - not sure on cost yet / 6 day course

Does anybody have any advice? Are there ones I should stay clear of? Are there more obvious ones than the above?

Thanks,
Lab.

Where in London are you, lab?

I did my DAS with CamRider in Hendon which were good, but cost maybe £6-700.

I failed my part 1 (the going round cones bit) putting my foot down. This added £135 to the cost (bike hire, half a day tuition, test fee...).

I had been riding a vespa for 5 years previously, and was confident, but mistakes do happen and you have to allow some budget!

The part 2 (road ride) went v smoothly.

The whole process is expensive tough! But would recommend camrider.
