21 inch front tire for Kawasaki Vulcan
Hello,
I am currently in Honduras, and the fact that my front tire is very, very worn out bothers me. Any tip on where to find a tire around here, or in Central America in general? I drive a 95 Kawasaki Vulcan 800 (non classic) The tire is a 90/21 56H tubeless, for cruisers. If I can“t find it, is it a good idea to use a same size spiked tire with a tube? would it be more dangerous to ride with that than my ready to explode tire? Any hints/tips appreciated. Neto |

You can put a tube inside a tubless tyre no problem. By spiked do you mean trail tyre? You would have less grip on tar roads and it wouldnt last as long, but if it clears the guard why not!

Lots of harleys use a 21 inch street tire on the front. They are rated for quite a bit more weight than a knobby tire made for a 250 pound bike. I have run the trials block pattern tires on big bikes with a side car and not had any major problems.
