Lack of ABS does not prevent the bike from being ridden. just means that for whatever reason, the ABS is nor working.

Does the servo system still work? This is far more important as if not, you'll only have 40% residual braking?

Make sure the handguard is not fouling the brake lever, otherwise the servo stops working.

Otherwise, if you can't get it working, checkout http://www.bmw.com.mx. These seem to be closest BMW bike dealers

Having been down that road myself, the dropping and handguard fouling the brake lever ploy, I found a new method of screwing up the ABS and servo. Spend a few hours riding through bouncy sticky mud on the Carraterra Austral then you can jam the micro switch on the foot brake. Problem resolved by using the very expensive BMW tool roll screwdriver as a mud pick. Enjoy Creel and buy litre bottles of in the campsite shop and drink them on the veranda, its a lot cheaper than the bar and think of me whilst you do it, here in Jordan its Ramadan, ride safe, Mike.

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive.
