South African Airport Staff Strike
 

The strike at all airports in South Africa that started four days ago is still in progress. The airport authorities states that it does not impact on travelers at all, the strikers states that it is affecting safety to a great extent. My own research shows that besides limited time delays, it does not really have a major impact. If you are shipping your bike, you are looking at a delay of about six hours.
