Situation between Syria and Libanon
 

Anyone any thoughts ons the develloping situation between Syrai and Libanon. Libanon mobilzed it full army after the recent bomb attack in Beiroet.

We are planning a trip to Jordan (crossing Syria and possibly Libanon) in april. Not yet changing any plans, but keeping an eye on things.

If anyone has any info on local regions to avoid, please pass it on.

I'm planning to be there in April and have aready got my Visa's.

I'm going to monitor the situation and make a decision nearer the time. Look on the bright sided you'll get a good GPS signal.

In 2004 have passed across Syria and Lebanon without problems. We gather at the end of April of this year to Jordan.

Looks like we wont be alone there. We'll be leaving Belgium May 15, hoping to cross into Syria May 22.
We plan two weeks to ride around Syria and Jordan. So crossing back into Turky around June 8.

Might be worth to stay in close contact concerning bordercrossings? Wich are 'easy' wich are 'harder'...
Anyone interested to meet up somewhere?

we're crossing from yemen to saudi now and have visas for syria and jordan (from yemen), we ll let you know how the trip goes, planning on crossing jordan-syrian border around 24 of march

I'm located in Saudi Arabia - Riyadh and I belive the situation is ok between lebanon and syria .. if you are coming from Turkey you can come directly to syria unless you want to see lebanon.

for madam .. you said you will let people know about your updates ... and since last time .. it was that you are crossing saudi arabia .. if you needed any help or coming by Riyadh drop me a line let me show you around. other wise if things are ok .. please lets know.

I'm in Istanbul today and should be at the Syrian border by Thur morning. I will update anyone interested on the sitution when i get to the border. If anyone has any recent info let me know
