We were in Russia 1 month ago. Police stoped us beacouse we were passing old Kamaz where we shouldn't.
Anyway I yust give him my international driving license and play stupid. Even if he would take my international driving license I still have Slovenian version. Russian language is a litlle similar to Slovenian and I understand him what he was saying but I didn't show it. If he asked me for fathers name I was explaining about our trip. When he said that I should pay I yust show him my credit card and empty wallet. Then he said that I should pay my penalty in the bank and I said that we are not going in the bank city but home to SLovenia. He thought that I'm total idiot. After 20min. of playing stupid he yust throw my documents back and said to me to dissapear. So yust play stupid and if this will not be enough yust demand oficialy protocol and I'm pretty sure that he will let you go. Same story in Ukraine.
