Request for assistance
 

ATTN : Travellers in the Arab Penisula, Iran, Pakistan, Saudi, UAE,

Hopefully, you should all be making arrangements to leave the area. While Islamic leaders are condeming the violence, I know as a traveller how vunerable you will be to attacks from fundamentalists and extremists.

I travelled overland though Turkey, Syria, Jordan and Eygpt last year and met many Muslims who were fantasic people, many of whom I am still in contact with.

The reality however, is that extremists interpret the word of the Prophet to fit their own political / ideological / commercial agendas.

Please assist by posting your first hand reports to this forum.
