Petrol prices in Bolivia - double for foreigners
 

Just a heads up for anyone travelling to Bolivia. It is now 'official' that all foreign registered vehicles must pay double the going rate for gasolina. We crossed into Bolivia from Chile, at the first fuel stop they told us this before we agreed. We re-fuelled again in La Paz and there was a sign on the petrol bowser. The going rate as of yesterday is 9.01 Bolivianos (around AUD$1.35 per litre so still not too bad. Brian
