Petrol in Morroco

Can anybody help me with crossing the Moroc to Maurit border I have a book that I used to use however it doesnt give the correct information that said Inned enogh fuel for 650 miles down and 800 back is this true, cause thats a lot of petrol to carry on a bike. Thanks for any help

Hi Duncan,
The numbers are a bit exaggerated. They should be in kilometeres rather than in miles. From Dakhla to Nouadhibou no problem. But from Nouadhibou to Nouakchott no gas available. Either carry a gerry can of an extra 20 liters, or ask one of the people in a car to carry it for you.
