Kathmandu..flights to UK
 

Heading north up west coast of India. Visa runs out on 31st Jan.I'd planned to cross into Nepal and on to Kathmandu to fly back to the UK.

Just read a message (below) saying that there'll be a ban on travel between Feb 5th - 9th. I hope to have reached Pokara by the 4th, lie low then get to Kathmandu.

Anyone got any more on this?

Think the bandh might actually go on until the 11th or even the 15th.

You can travel in the bandh but do so at your own risk.

You can get from the border to KTM in like a day though.

Pohkara would be a good place to hole up but might get boring if you don't like trekking.
