Insurance For Sane Seventy-year-old Bikers
 

Dumb question, but does anyone know of an insurance company that might give me health (as in accident) cover? Since my crash people have been sending me accounts of their own crashes. I am getting nervous! and have Brazil to cross.

Combined Insurance Company of America do a sort of accident cover....pays £100 per night your in hospital £500 per broke bone £500 per intensive care stay PLUS for TWICE the time you were in hospital you get £100 per day "convalescence" so 10 days in hospital with a broke leg earns you £3500

AND you can claim as many times as you like on same policy.

I had over £28,000 out of these guys in 2 claims. thay were the mutts nutts to deal with, no quibble, paid up sweet as pie.......also cover illness etc, age no problem, previous probs no matter, premiums about 50p to £1 a day or less depending on cover.....

check em out on Google or something.......they were brilliant.

Martyn, unfortunately we aren't in the same age bracket. What inurance companies will do for men in their forties or fifties, they don't do for men in their mid seventies! However, thanks, and I am having my daughter contact Combined in hope. simon

Hiya Simon, CICA never mentioned any age limits to me when they sold me the policy.
