I bought 6 moth worth of insurance from MOTORCYCLE EXPRESS for a south america trip I had planed, after a month into my trip I had to return home, sent the insurance compsny the necesary papaer work to cancel the unused portion of the insurance and now I am having a hard time getting my money back and keep getting the tipical insurance run around.......THOUGHT I WOULD LET PEOPLE KNOW

Hi, insurance companies are the devil. If your proposal for the insurance worked in a block for 6 months with one lump sum payment, then, from a contractual point of view their obligations only arise if the unseen event insured againt arise, depending on the contract they are probably not obliged to repay you. Your claim for restitution will only be succesful if the contract provides for such a ground for cancellation. However, often the conpanies will repay you as it is a good business practise.
