How long after surgery?
Folks:
I just had inguinal hernia repair. How long should I wait before I start serious riding - do remember I am travelling in India where the roads are a little bumpy and my enfield here is a kick start. Any help much appreciated.

How do you feel?
It is more about how do you feel.
Generally said not less than 2 months.

progresive
progresion is the answer, start to ride as soon as you feel, but ride "the easy way" avoiding bumping, drive softly, for short while
See and feel ...is ieverything is ok , you can progress slowely, (waiting for two months and then....driving....that is not the proper way...I am afraid) your (kinesy-)therapeutic motor fellow Pol

If your hernia surgery was like mine you ain't even going to want to see a motorcycle much less swing a leg over one for awhile. Don't rush to screw up your doc's work. Let it heal.

Your bike takes a starter...
How a 'bout retrofitting one? Eliminates one source of strain.
