Honduran Border Crossing
 
The road just before Choluteca, Honduras and all the way to the Guasaule (CA3) crossing into Nicaragua is full of trip ending potholes. There are hundreds of them. You really have to concentrate. I met a fellow in Leon who is waiting on a new rim after hitting one. By the way, this crossing went well. It is a real mess to look at, but you can muddle through without a helper. The officials were friendly, no hassles.

How is your trip going.Thanks for the info on the CA3 in Honduras. I expect to be there in February 2013. Any other updates on your route? I will be doing all of Central America so any updates or issues you can pass along would be great.
