I suggest you take a look at the other, current, threads in here that refer to the same issue; broadly, folks are considering avoiding Egypt all together - if only because there are few, if any, ferry services going that way from the north of that country - and skirting around there, via other countries; such as Israel, Jordan, Iran (ferry from there toward other locations) etc etc
Check out the fora for the Middle East, or even Europe (Turkey, regarding the ferries) rather than this one.
