DRC and CAR

Sorry to post this here again, just hoping I can get quick responses:

I am heading up to Kinshasa, then a barge all the way up Congo river to Bangui. I´ve heard unconfirmed reports of motorcycle theft in DRC - can anyone confirm this? I will only be doing the small section from Banza Sosso to Kinshasa - so doubt it is an issue.

What about CAR? I have NO BRIBE MONEY!

Would love to hook up with any riders in Luanda.

Anyone seen or heard from Linzi?

Any recommendations on where to stay?

I have only heard of "The Yacht Club" - but it seems it is far out of town...

My bike and gear is currently parked in front of the Residence of the South African Ambassador - and the flies are all over it (I do have the horns from a bull on my front mudguard - and they are over a week old from Sesfontein, Namibia!)
