mine was stolen too

i know how u feel. i had mine stolen 2 months before the trip but now we are on the road for 8 months.

it was in malaysia, so it was useless to depend on the police. i made a notice: REWARD RM$2000.

i went back malaysia in 10 hours, give and paste the notice in all the villiages, petrol station, bike shop, coffee shop, metal recycling center and everywhere. at last...

...

it was still not found. till today, we still miss my bike.

let us know if u need any help or funding.

goh

lost bike

2nd thing that i did to fund my RTW in 2 months time was to seek for sponsorship. we wrote 60 letters out to listing company, big $$$ companies in singapore. our aim is to bring the singapore brand around the world. no Fkers reply. they are so stingy... or perhaps i didnt have time for them to react. at the same time i posted on news paper on my stolen bike.

so u may try doing sponsorship. tell them about ur story.

3rd thing i did when 1st and 2nd doesnt work, i gotta wake up, buy another bike with my minimum fund and start the RTW trip!

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
