Colebatch's bike stolen in Holland

Walter Colebatch's well travelled SibirskyExtreme BMW G650 X-Challenge was stolen early this morning in Dordrecht, Holland.

This is a highly distinctive, modified bike that has three times crossed Europe and Asia to the Pacific and/or back

To our friends in Holland and neighbouring countries please familiarise yourself with this bike.

post 1222. There are probably more photos of this bike on ADV than any other UK registered bike. So look them up please and keep your eyes open.

Well that just sucks! Walter, best of luck tracking it down...

Craptastic... you go through all of Asia and have it stolen in Western Europe. No need to point out the irony.

Anyway, I read the thread and it looks like the thieves have already been spotted riding around town on that bike. If that is indeed true then we're probably dealing with Homo DumbAsBreadus here...

Good luck getting it back Walter. And remember: violence may not be the answer but neither is no violence ;)

Ahhhh thats just horrible.

Insurance is just no substitute either. I wish him the best of luck with its recovery.

I'm happy the motorcycle was recovered, now let's hope nothing will be missing.

Let us know, Walter.

Great news, bike is found, I hope that bike is still like it used to be.

What kind of sick minds are out there... they don't have any respect...

doosey 11 Nov 2010 18:55

walter let me know if the bike is too damaged to ride and you need to get it to uk, my colleague is in middleburg for the next few days with a van, we might be able to help get it back.
