Bamako to Burkina Faso
My wife and I are wanting to visit Djenne and Bandiagara in Mali before entering Burkina Faso and into Benin. Does anyone have information on the best routes and security issues in this region?

This is an easy well traveled route from Bamako. From the Dogon Country- you can overnight in Banjagara (I like the White Horse Inn- Chaval Blanche) then take the boarder crossing from Koro into Burkina. There are some travel advisories for anything east of Koro.
