ATMs Not working in Brazil
Since April 20th. all ATMs at all Brazil banks will not accept foriegn Debit cards for cash withdrawals. The Plus Financial Network is frozen.
I have 3 different Bank acounts, with separate financial institutions in Canada, unfortunately all on the Plus Network. Aparently the same issues are in Peru and Costa Rica as well. What a pain in the but! The only option is to stand in line for an hour and get a teller cash advance on your Visa Card.. I dont get this at all as the Plus netowrk is owned by Visa.. |
