Any Americans gone into Bolivia recently?
 

I´m trying to get current information about the ability to get a Bolivian visa at the border. Has anyone (Americans only... there are different requirements for us due to political squabbles) gone into Bolivia recently, and how was the visa handled? Can it be done at the border, or do I need to get a visa in Lima first? What about a ¨letter of invitation¨?

Do you mean US citicens?
 

I think they ask for 150 US dollars.The US ambassador was sent back to the US but i think regular citicens are not banned!
Have you tried to contact the bolivisn consulate?
