Accidents-personal injuries

Hello all,

I have had two crashes where my head (helmet) hit the ground. One crash was in 40km/h on icy roads, the other was at 90km/ with a dog!
Both cases the impact was in the facial area of the full face helmet. With an open helmet the damage would be bad, now it was only walkaway.
My question is, those of you with "head crashes", where did your helmet impact? Face, top, side etc?
Was I "unlucky" to hit the facial area 2 out of 2, or is this typical?

regards

John

Front - twice
Back - four times
Left side - three times
Right side - five times

Always a full face helmet for me, thanks to that my head is still the same shape as when I started riding and just as ugly.
