About Pakistan-india border
Hi all..
Some fella at Pakistan embassy in Turkey says Pakistan-india border closed. Even if u have Pakistan/india visas, u cannot reach india via Pakistan. And i dont want to believe this.. Please some ppl show up here and say 'Yes..i passed the border'. And gimme some hope...

I am in Islamabad now. Some friends of mine left about 1 hour ago to cross the border. I am certain it is open, the Indian embassy here in Pakistan gave us our visas just today and didnt mention a thing. The Pakistani embassy in Turkey doesn't like to issue visas from there, this is probably why you heard that there. We tried and tried there but we couldnt get a visa out of him. In Tehran it is an easy process.

Quincy Ty very much for the info. i am a bit relaxed now. You can't obtain touristical visa, only business visa u can have from Turkey. The same fella at Pakistan Embassy/istanbul also said that u can only pass from airport customs with business visa, and you cannot pass borderline..Ridicilous. Obviously they dont want more ppl in Pakistan..lol Trip gonna start at 17-18 Sept. Less than 2 months..
