Shock absorber - more help!

Anyone know of a place I can get a new rear shock for my 1996 BMW F650 around Santiago area. I should be there in about a week and don't really want to hang around waiting for one to be sent over.Doesn't have to be great (aftermarket Hagon would be excellent!) just get me down to TDF and back home. Even an overhaul of stock would do if possible.Cheers in advance,Mark.

You could get Javier at Dakar Motos in Buenos Aires to rebuild your old one - he did a great job on mine.

Santiago isnt far from the Argentine border, suggest crossing it & enjoy the asado/wine while it does the round trip - that way you'll avoid any Chilean import duties.
