PDAs,email and Eastern Europe.

Hi,

The aim is to be able to travel the world, it happens it will be by bike, and still collect and send emails using my kip@su76.com emails account.

My guess is that using a PDA is the way to go, but which type? How do I connect when travelling, do I use a PDA which is also a tri-band mobile phone and dial up my ISP? You’ll be getting the idea… when it comes to emailing on the go I am a novice and could very easily end up buying the wrong setup and then having to repurchase another type of PDA just weeks later with the features I will then know I need ;).

Anyway… would be grateful of any tips and hints on the way to go… when dealing with home PCs I am confident I know my stuff but have never had to communicate by email on the go before and know there is many a trap waiting for the novice :).

Thanks for your help,
All the best,
Kip.

PDA email

I'm a tech junky so I've got the lot & then some.
But I found that when travelling I write bloggs on my PDA, transfer to a USB chip then just cut and paste when I get to a cyber cafe.
Just make sure the USB chip is 1.0 compatible as some of the new big chips can not be read by some of the older systems.
Hope that helps.
