laptop on the road?
Hi
Going to c/s America and would like to know should I spend the money on a laptop And carry it around with me or use internet cafes on the way? thanks

See the Communications Forum for lots of info on that - but basically, unless you are planning on doing a lot of work on the laptop, internet cafes are everywhere and cheap in South America, so no laptop required. Eliminates a lot of aggro and weight and security worries if you don't take one.
