Handy Tip

Keep a list of important phone numbers ( credit card companies, any other ones you need) etc separate from your wallet and documents, that way if you lose your credit card etc you can call and cancel the cards and order new ones.

Hi Martyn and welcome to the HUBB :welcome:

Yes a very sensible sugestion, My big 'faux pas' was not having copies of phone numbers when my mobile phone stopped working, and neither myself or mobile provider could retrieve my numbers, this happened twice!!. Beware if you own one of the yellow JCB phones, I also believe the identical phone is colour matched green and badged 'Land Rover'.

Probably worth emailing the whole list to yourself too (provided you are happy with your security) then worst case is you have to go to an internet cafe to retreive your info.

Another brilliant idea.......Thanks! :thumbup1:

you could also take copies of your documentation, cards, passport, anything important and keep them on a small USB Pen drive....attach that to a keyring or wear as a pendant...... you can keep a stack of info on a pen drive and just about ANY computer can access them these days.....so you may want tp password protect certain files

DO NOT password protect ANY documents with medical info about yourself.:nono:
EMT's and Ambulance people may need to access that info.

Put a RED CROSS LOGO on the pen drive to make it clear that they should look there too.

Time saved in an Emergency during the "Golden Hour" ( the first 60 minutes after a serious accident or injury is known as the golden hour........) is vitally important.
