driving in the desert

At this time My wife and I are living in S.C. de Bariloche Argentina since Jan 1 of 05. My plans are to return to USA in the middle of jan. 06 which is going to be very hot going through the desert in northern chile, and of course hot in many places . Iám driving a 1150gs adventure 04 ,Is there a posiblidad que I going to have problems overheating and do I need to consider instaling some sort of extra oil cooler? (By the way I will be riding solo, sin esposa)

No problem, there are no reports I know of of the R1150GS overheating, so long as everything is in good condition.

No changes required at all.

have a great trip!
