Black BMW Jacket
Hi, I'm planning to travel to Timbuktu during December. It quite a hot time of the year to travel and I'm looking to buy a BMW Airflow jacket to use on this trip. They come in two colours, black and a light sand colour. I would like to know if it will be much hotter riding with a black jacket, does it make a differenc.

You'd be better off with the lighter colour. Black absorbs heat, where as lighter colours tend to reflect it. Next time you park your bike in the sun see how hot your black seat cover gets compared to the rest of the bike.
I always avoid black clothing for summer use, prefering brightly coloured stuff. The only disadvantage is the dirt shows up more.
