An alternative to internet cafe's

Hi All,

As an alternative to stopping off at internet cafe's, I took out an annual subscription with Regus > Professional Office Space, Meeting Room and Conference Room Rentals, Virtual Office Solutions, and Network Access with their virtual access network scheme. Cost R2,000 (about £160).

They have 750 offices around the world (but few in africa). I just turn up at any centre, free internet, coffee, comfy lounge etc, but the main thing is you can use a 'pod' a small private area where i connect my laptop and sort all my photographs, burn them on dvd and give it to the receptionist who gets it couried home. You can also use any location like a virtual office and get faxes, calls etc fwded to any other centre.

I sometimes spend days in them and find it quite refreshing as they have tv etc and of course they are all secure. Great way to fire you up for the bush when you're overloaded on sky news.

You have to call the number in your country and go to one in order to sign up and I suggest you say your a travelling business man/woman. Im not affiliated with them so dont bother saying Mike sent you.

Cheers

I checked the website and it looks good.
It is more expensive then Internet café's but if you can spend the money, I think it is a very good alternative !
