KLR600/KTM640 alluminuim panniers, steel racks, big tank, etc

Hello,
Here is a list of stuff from my 1986 KLR600 which i bought for a round trip of Europe earlier this year. Cant decide wether to break the bike or sell it as a whole as it obviously getting on a bit now. I am a welder so most of the stuff i have made myself. The bits i have are as follows;

Full steel hard pannier racks (18mm pipe) which have the same size rectangular frames as Touratech ones coppied from a KTM640 Adventure.

One 35L + 40L alluminium panniers with touratech mounting kits and locks. I copied off real Touratech panniers from a KTM640 adventure so i know they fit this aswell.

Touring screen

Hagon rear shock which has about 6000m on it. Still as new because has only been used on the road.

Renthal handlebars

Also everything elso on the bike would be available if wanted.

If anybody has any interest in any of this stuff then reply or send me an email.

Many thanks
Jim.

Jim,

I'm interested in the boxes and racks in particular.. I'm buying a KLR650 (I should know tomorrow if thats going to work out), and I'm going to kit it out for a trip next summer. The various sources for aluminium boxes that I've looked at all seem quite expensive.

Would your stuff be suitable for the KLR650?

Can you get pics of some of the stuff to me?

Colm

Hello,
I cant promise that the racks would fit but at a guess that they would probarbly need a bit of modifying. The boxes would be fine. Send me your email by personal message if you still want some photos.
Many thanks
Jim.

Hagon Shock

Hi Jim,

I know this an old posting but I thought I'd give it a try anyway. You mentioned having a rear Hagon shock for your KLR600 and I was wondering if it's still available? I'm in the U.S. and these shocks are hard to come by, so I'm interested if the price is right and the shipping makes sense. Let me know at your earliest convenience. You can contact me direct at lifeline00@wmconnect.com. Thank you in advance.

Mark
