Wilbers Shocks
Does anyone know of a good shop in UK that will sell me a Wilbers shock for my 1988 XT600z Tenere ? The ones I have tried so far seem to loose intrest once I tell them my bike is more than three years old !

Try this guy he is a wilbers agent and very helpful, Wilbers Motorbike Suspension - Solo Corse UK
Or go direct to Wilbers. When you order get it built exactly to your needs eg your weight, luggage, etc it costs little or no extra and they work really well.

I bought my Wilbers shock from Wilbers direct, emailed a chap called Dirk Wenzelmann speaks (writes) very good english and super efficient.
here is his email..(@ rather than AT) anfrageusa AT wilbers.de some time ago when I wanted a set of progresive springs he suggested to call the UK Wilbers importers. "Every accessory" Peter Oldham 0044 1215013321 I still think Dirk is much more efficient than Peter. g

Hi Brian, if you haven't got one sorted allready, give David Lambeth a ring on 01205 871945. He can sell you one straight off the shelf for your Tenere. I bought one from him a few months back, it arrived within 48 Hrs and it's really transformed the handling on my 1VJ.
