Looks like everyone is keeping theirs!

I went for round titanium Quill exhausts on my 950SM (All models the same I believe).
The price attracted me and they're British made. Delivery was slow but the cans are very well made, light and best of all, run cool! They attach by means of a slip-on adapter to the three bolt end of the Y pipe. This is not the prettiest but is mostly hidden under the fairing on my bike.

After removing the SAS and EPC it runs a lot better. Easier starting, smoother throttle action and a bit of a growl/rumble too. I have the EVO2 set with the removable baffle which, if left in means no re-jetting required.

Hope this helps.

Cans

Those cans should fit straight on and from what I have seen on other forums, they are nice! You may find the strap is in a slightly different place from one bike to the next so with a soft skinned can, aluminium or titanium, there may be a little mark. The attachment of the cans is however, completely the same between the three models. LV cans can be quite loud so make sure any you bid for come with any removable baffles (if they had them to start with).

Good luck!

To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.
