Wanted 1992 xt600e Acerbis tank

Been looking on Ebay Germany and US for a while now. Seems that mostly pre-1990 tanks are showing up. Is it possible to modify the mounts for my year? A new Acerbis is only avaliable through Touratech Germany at about $400 plus shipping. Any help would be appreciated!
