Riding Solo to the Top of The World DVD for sale

A great dvd that I've watched and am now selling on.

Riding Solo... Is a film about filmmaker Gaurav Jani's solo motorcycle journey from Mumbai to one of the remotest places in the world, the Changthang Plateau in Ladakh, bordering China. As a one-man film unit, he astonishes you, filming the landscape he passes by and the people he interacts with, capturing moments of beauty, pain, love, hardship, self doubt and spiritual triumphs.

Check out Dirt Track Productions - Motorcycle Chang pa for more details

Watched once but still in immaculate condition!

Weird, it's called 'Riding solo to the top of the world' but it's about 5 motorcyclists heh. Looks good though.

And as far as moto riding is concerned, the top of the World is far further north than "bordering China" be it in the continents of Asia, Europe or N America.

Not looked at the link - but am I missing something?

I thought Riding Solo To The Top Of The World was quite good actually. The lengths he went to to get his beautiful wide shots were incredible - DEDICATION! I thought it went downhill a bit toward the end...

This IS the one he done alone, he did a sequal called One Crazy Ride, which he did with a group. Not seen this but it looks good.

"Riding Solo" is just Gaurav on his own. "One Crazy Ride" is Gaurav and his mates.

I think in this case the "Top Of the World" is to do with altitude, rather than being close to the North Pole.

It's an excellent DVD and he must have put a great deal of effort into the filming. But wouldn't it be a better endorsement of Gaurav's work to encourage people to buy their own copy rather than recycle the one you've bought?

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
