Sat. phone for sale

Hi Martin

We bought the phone and pay-as-you-go service from Marconi Marine. If I remember correctly, the sim chip (connection) was £50 and we bought units in blocks of 200. 1 Unit was 1 minute to land line phones. Units were valid for 12 months (use them of lose them!) and cost £200 for the 200 units. I've just had a quick look at the Marconi web site (url below), seems the charging has changed, but the details are there.

Marconi de-registered our SIM - because we haven’t used it for some time, so you would need to get a new SIM - but, looking at the Marconi site, this doesn’t seem to be a problem.


I suspect there are other (cheaper) pay-as-you-go service providers.
