Iridium Sat-phone for Hire/Sale, anyone interested?
Hi,
We got hold of an Iridium Sat Phone before our trip and are trying to decide what to do with it, so i'm canvassing. I can't remember the exact model number, but its about a year old and works everywhere(some of the cheap models don't). This model retails for over 1000 UK pounds. We're thinking about renting it out. Would anybody be interested? Basically we'd charge a monthly rate and you'd have to pay for the call top-ups. These cost $200 for 75mins call time and 3 months of service. For long trips you can get a contract which is a bit more flexible and a tad cheaper. Otherwise we're going to sell it. Make me an offer......
