G/S transmission 4 sale: Short 1st, Long 5th gears with kick
Hi,

I have for sale a transmission for a BMW R80 G/S. It may work on the later R100 GS but I'm not sure. It was completely rebuilt by a BMW mechanic and now has the shorter 1st gear and taller 5th gear (like in the HPN and Siebenrock catalogs). It also has a kickstarter. It has 0km - it has never been on a motorcycle since rebuild.

I bought the transmission from the mechanica and had him rebuild it. I was going to take it to South Africa for my R80 G/S in Durban, but instead I had another transmission rebuilt in South Africa. So now I don't need this one.

I paid 650 euros. Make me an offer. The transmission is in Holland. Can be shipped anywhere.

Yes it will work perfectly on the R100GS and all airheads 81 on.

Very reasonable price, assuming all new bearings - someone snap it up!

Thanks Grant. Yes, this has all new bearings and seals in addition to the new gears described. And of course the box was blasted clean. David
