FS: Down-filled Sleeping Bag in Buenos Aires
For Sale in Buenos Aires is this used down-filled sleeping bag for USD $25.
I've been on the road since March 2010 on a Suzuki DR650 traveling from Chicago all around Latin America and am heading to Africa next. I bought this sleeping bag in Sucre, Bolivia in order to survive the chills of the Salar de Uyuni and the Lagunas Route to San Pedro de Atacama. It says it's only rated to -1 C, so I put my thin summer sleeping bag inside and I survived camping out at 4,400 m. The construction is kind of cheap with down feathers spilling out of the stitching but it's warm and does the job. If you just need a sleeping bag to get you through Patagonia and the Andes, this is a good one.  The sleeping bag is blue on the bottom with lighter blue on top and comes with some padding for the head.  Tag on the bag showing materials. 100% down filled.  The packed sleeping bag. It's a bit bulky but light. I'm currently in southern Patagonia (Villa O'Higgins) and am thinking about leaving the bag at Dakar Motos in Buenos Aires if another traveler is interested in the bag. I'll be reaching BA in about 2-3 weeks around the beginning of February. I'll accept cash if we meet in person or Paypal otherwise.
