F/S: bits and pieces, clothing, armour and bags, UK

right fellas, i need some new bike gear, so it's time to sell a few bits and pieces to fund it!

first up, some UFO Shockwave body armour. I bought this about a year ago, used it maybe 5-6 times. £25 delivered

not sure what size it is, but fits me fine, and i take a large/x-large in most things

next is a tail bag for an F650 Dakar. Used many times, and lately on the DRZ too, so it does fit other bikes with a bit of fiddling. Has a large main compartment, with drawstring waterproof inner, a top pocket, a zip to connect it to the larger rear seat bag than BMW make, and it can also expand to almost twice its size. Also has rucksak straps tucked away underneath for ease of carrying off of the bike. £15 delivered

next is a pannier bag for the BMW 650gs expandable plastic panniers. It's been used a fair bit, but the only damage to it is that the cover of the popper is missing. The popper still works fine, just doesn't look as good! It's got a shoulder strap, so you could use it as a satchel if you so desired! £10 delivered.

next is a pair of knox elbox guards. again used only a few times. £10 delivered

next is a copy of Lois on the loose. I bought and read this one, and then met lois at the HU UK meet last year, and bought another copy off of her, which she signed. Don't really need both, so get a copy if you haven't yet read this fab little book. £4 delivered

and finally, my Rallye 2 suit. I've had this a couple of years now. It's seen a fair few miles on both my old Dakar and the DRZ. However i now only seem to wear my road kit, and this just doesn't get used. It's been washed and then put away. Both jacket and trousers have their goretex liners, full armour, and the jacket has both the rear map pocket and bum bag. The jacket is a size 118 and the trousers are a size 106. not sure what they are in normal clothing sizes, but i'm sure a 118 is a 58, but longer arms and body, and a 106 is a 46, but with longer legs, I think. I'm not going to pretend this is a new suit, or in mint condition, but they are fully functional, and will do someone well. I'm open to offers on the suit, but I think it's worth at least £50 for the complete suit.

cheers all

Membership - help keep us going!

Horizons Unlimited is not a big multi-national company, just two people who love motorcycle travel and have grown what started as a hobby in 1997 into a full time job (usually 8-10 hours per day and 7 days a week) and a labour of love. To keep it going and a roof over our heads, we run events all over the world with the help of volunteers; we sell inspirational and informative DVDs; we have a few selected advertisers; and we make a small amount from memberships.

You don't have to be a Member to come to an HU meeting, access the website, or ask questions on the HUBB. What you get for your membership contribution is our sincere gratitude, good karma and knowing that you're helping to keep the motorcycle travel dream alive. Contributing Members and Gold Members do get additional features on the HUBB. Here's a list of all the Member benefits on the HUBB.
