Compressor

I honestly don't know whats available over there but a company here exports a lot of their stuff worldwide so some of the aussie stuff might be available there. I've used a lot of compressors on many trips here and found one called a "Blue tongue" that leaves the rest for dead. There's a couple of similar ones that I believe are as good. Try anything sold by ARB if you can get their stuff in UK. Go to 'arb.com.au" or any of the A.R.B. sites

Compressors

As said above try to get an A.R.B. set up. I use a Cyclepump for my motorcycle and it has also worked on my Jeep. Although for your adventure I would recommend a heavy duty unit. Some other companies to check are Masterflow, Kilby Enterprises, Viair and The Source.

Common sense really but check the length of the cable especially if it runs off the battery terminals; obviously the longer the better. I needed one quickly recently and bought a heavy duty Australian brand which works fine except that to reach the rear left tyre on a LWB Nissan Patrol I had to route the cable through the front right window and out the open rear left door! Not very cool...

Thanks people.

Finally settled on a ViAir from Matt Savage. Looks (and am told) good unit for the price.

Phil.
