Ideal upgrade to r80-st models or a spare set for your r80/100gs. This is a rare opportunity to get a complete BMW r80gs front end. This is from a 1991 bike and is in excellent working condition.

The front forks come complete with yokes, steering stem, front axle, Brembo brake, and bar clamps.

The forks have been completely stripped, cleaned internally, New progressive spring fitted, new fork seals, New oil. I will supply the original springs in with the sale. The forks internals have covered approx 30,000 kms, As i had HPN inserts fitted (the inserts have now been sold). The forks are in very good condition but are 20 years old so do have some small marks.

The front wheel is also a very hard item to find even from dealers and a rare opportunity to get a front wheel for a gs. This is a 21" wheel 1.85 akront rim its the paralever model wheel for tubeless and tubed tyres. The wheel is in good condition runs true and all spokes are stainless steel in good condition. the rim is clean however it does have some minor mark from use and tyre levers etc. It is fitted with a fairly new cast iron front disc for the brake.

Check out the cost and availability (they are rarely available form any dealers ) (motorworks currently want £340 per complete fork leg (each) and if available - £285 wheel that does not include yokes, axle brake etc) when I checked they had no wheels available.

I will also be selling a rear wheel £200, bevel box 3,20:1(32/10) and swing arm £140.

These items are being sold as I am building a HPN type special with different forks and swing arm - not due to crash or accident damage.
