bmw prototype 1040 cc paris dakar and large tank(s) for r80/

hello,
i saw your recent posts about finding tanks.

a friend of mine in paris is selling one MOTOFORMS (famous in the paris dakar rally) 45-50l tank for sure.
it was on a r80g/s or r80gs or r100 gs before.
it s complete : with the fuel taps and the fixations to the frame of the bike (a bit like HPN style).
made of "resine" fiber style.
brand name : MOTOFORMS i think, very famous in the past paris dakar races.
very light !

he may sell 1-2 others, like bmw pd 35l original.

On a base of a 1986 R80G/S, french papers are ok perfect no problem.

Excellent driving condition.

Ran in the 1988 Rally Paris Dakar race with French drivers, bike with an history.

Made in France at Arcueil Motors (Paris), the equivalent of HPN, specialist of
Rally Paris Dakar preparation and maintenance.

Frame multi reinforced.
Engine 1040 cc HPN.
Double HPN sping arm modified, reinforced, longer 10 cms than the original one, double
Ohlins suspension at rear.
Marzocchi 300 mm forks big diameter (not upside down)
Clutch, gearbox, carburators, etc … also modified, reinforced.

Around 80-85 hp, very powerfull !!!

59 000 kms (driven)

Ready to be driven, works perfectly.

New exhaust pipes, new tyres, new battery, new air oil filter etc …

Checked all : electricity, forks, suspension, engine, gearbox : no problem at
all, ready for you for a ride :-)

Options :
1- wheteher rally style original : front : one big Motoforms (HPN style) 50l fuel tank + 2 water small tanks (around 3-5l) and front rally frame; rear : rally frame : one 20l fuel tank and one 3l water tank
2- whether regular options : small front tank, no rear tank, basic rear frame Acerbis mudguard
3- whether both.
