Approx. 20000 miles on the clock...owned by me since 2000 miles. It is black and on a KX04 plate. It is untaxed at the moment, and has just passed 12 months MOT.
I have all the papers/original underseat tools.
The bike is specced as follows:
+SW Motech Centre Stand
+ Metal Mule Panniers and Frames (With rubber feet, handles and tie downs, not anodized). Bike has been dropped a couple of times; the metal mules are in very good condition, one has a dent in its side, but this does not affect closing/packing. I will try and knock it out.
+Metal Mule Rack
+Metal Mule Bashplate...its been bashed...and straightened, but in great condition
+Metal Mule 2-into-1 Exhaust system.
+Snorkel Removed and 'Kev' XT660.com fuelling modifications made to bike.
+Renthal style black hand protectors (with steel reinforcements).
+Renthal Carmiechal Motocross bars (w/out pad)
+RAM GPS mount on handlebars
+Romic suspension rear shock upgrade (I still have the original sitting in my loft, it has only 2000 miles on it...included in sale). This is uprated for a rider with extra fuel/luggage on horrid roads.
+Home made hi-screen (Made from two original low ones!)...can be converted without any damage back to original low if you prefer.
+Spares for bike: Spare set of grab handles for rear passenger, spare clutch lever, spare gear shift lever, spare inner tube for front, two spares of disc pads for the front, one spare set for the rear, spare iridium pre gapped spark plug, full set of cables still in their original packaging. All the original fittings and exhausts are included in the sale!
+Bike had a brand new battery from Yammy main dealer in March 2008.
The bad bits: Bikes Valves have not been cleared and is due, the chain is in good condition (its not pulling off the sprocket) but was last replaced at around 12000 miles. There is some corrosion on the engine casing, the panels are a little bit faded/the garish XT stickers are gone. Two of the tabs which hold the panels on, near the radiator are gone (everyone i've seen with this bike has had this problem, the bike rides/looks/functions fine without them, but im being honest). The bike also sports a pair of T63's at present with under 1500 miles on them...they do seem to have developed a couple of cuts on them.
Don't really want to sell this bike, but im at university now and feeling the pinch, it's back to bicycles for me unfortunately. I have worked on this bike myself, and trust it without hesitation. Nothing has gone wrong on it apart from the usual crap (chains, leaving the parking light on etc.) and she's great fun. Her name's Bianca!
