Yamaha XT600 AJ AND JZ FOR SALE
Salisbury UK
Hi All The time has come to sell our 2 XT600s as we are unlikely ever to use them again. They are a 1987 AJ and a 89 AZ both are SORN at present and will need minor work for MOT. They both cross the Sahara both ways and are now laid up awaiting new owners. The AZ has ali cases and touratech racks the AJ comes with some panniers and a tank bag. Both bikes have numerous bumps and scrapes one notable ding in the AJs tank, so it comes with a sound spare. I have a collection of other spares for them including indicators and shocks etc. Its all yours but as they are off the road you will need a van or trailer to come and collect them. XT600 Photos
I have attached some photos when they were last out about 3 years ago. We went down to Morrocco on them
Both are sound but need some work i.e. batteries to get running. They are both UK registered and SORNed. They have good tyre Michilen Dual use tyres. The AJ has an oil leak fron the gear change seal. Should no be hard to fix. Look at the photos note the dents and rough appearnce, remeber these are traveling bikes not GS1200s used for dry summer road rides. And here is my sob story - I have been stuck in Indonesia trying to buy a bike, but the import tax is over 300%, meaning I haven't been able to ride for aaaaaages!
