Yamaha available in Buenos Aires
I see that a numbr of adventurers would like to ride south to north, starting out from Buenos Aires.
The problem is obtaining a suitable bike.
First of all, bikes in Argentina are very expensive. Secondly, there is the added difficulty of taking a Argentinian registered bike out of the country.
As it happens , I have a 1999 Yamaha 1100cc cruiser which I rode down from Canada. It is in great condition, and ready for the trip back north.
I have discussed the transfer of the title of my bike with the Aduana at the highest level. What is required is that the seller ( that being I) and the purchaser both signing an affadavit in the presnce of the aduana officials. They will then immediately issue new documents to the new owner which will permit the bike to exit the country at any border. It is as easy as that !!
Send me a private message, and we can discusss it further!!
