Sounds bang on what I'm looking for and on my budget, lemme get rid of my Tiger first though, might be able to do that in the following week. Sadly, I'm currently having trouble shifting it... nothing wrong with it mind, just hard to find takers for it.

As for your bike, the only thing it looks like it's missing is the Corbin seat and side racks. Perfect. How did you manage the Timbuktu trip on the seat you have on it?

I have got used to the seatnow .but I also have a airhawk for the long road sections.
I like the soft luggage it help's keep the weight down.

Is the airhawk any good? looks like a grannies hemorrhoids seat to me (no offence). I want soft luggage too, but feel that a rack would help strap the luggage better and lower keeping balance better (this is not based on any experience so I could be completely wrong).

The last of the XR400R in the UK had to be registered before the end of 2005.
I Bought this XR400R Brand new from the Honda dealer in September 2006.

To Be honest I think I'm going to keep the bike.

The XR is just to good, and I wont get the chance to own one from new again
