WTB: DL650 V-Strom near NYC, USA
I'm looking for a clean DL650 V-Strom in the NY, NY - Tri State area. I'm willing to drive farther for the right bike!

Hey bud,

I have been thinking about purchasing one that I seen on the Albany Craigslist. I don't think I am going to purchase it because it's quite a drive from my house. I'll put the link here if you want to take a look at it. Comes with Happy Trail Denali Panniers. I spoke with the seller, really nice guy was answering every question without hesitation.

If you want to find bikes really quick go to one of those Search all of Craigslist sites and you can find bikes quickly anywhere in the US.

Here is one on LI: Price Reduced - 2005 Suzuki V-Strom 650, mint condition, 12000mi

One in South Jersey: 2008 Suzuki DL650 V-Strom

There are a few 1000 cc's, any reason you're not interested in the bigger bike?

Awesome...thnaks! Yeah, I was thinking about the 1000, but I'm looking to keep the weight down and the MPG up. I'm planning a 6-8 month trip heading down to South America...so the less weight and higher the milage...the better!

Also check out the Vstrom forums, VSRI and StromTroopers, both of these always have bikes for sale and they are not usually listed on Craigs or any other sales site.

I bought mine via the forums

Thanks TS! Funny thing is I was on your blog a few weeks ago and have been lurking from time to time! Great stuff! I live in North Jersey about 30 minutes outside of NYC....look me up when you get in the area...
